DWC ECOSTREAM Pipes for Drainage
ECOSTREAM DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) pipes, compliant with IS 16098 (Part 2): 2013, are structured-wall HDPE pipes designed for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage systems. They feature a smooth inner surface for optimal flow and a corrugated outer surface for enhanced stiffness and strength.
Available in sizes from 75 mm to 1000 mm nominal internal diameter with ring stiffness classes SN4 / SN8 (4 or 8 kN/m²). These lightweight, flexible pipes support applications like stormwater drainage, sewerage treatment plants, cross-drainage culverts, and rainwater harvesting—offering a service life of 75–100 years without maintenance.
Key Advantages Over RCC Pipes
ECOSTREAM DWC pipes outperform RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) pipes due to their lighter weight, faster installation, corrosion resistance and long-term leakage protection with elastomeric ring joints.
- Very light weight – reduced transport/handling cost
- Fast installation – push-fit / ring joint
- Excellent corrosion & chemical resistance
- Leak-proof joints – minimal infiltration/exfiltration
- Flexible for varied soils & earthquake zones
